Forte Activity Fee — $225, first payment due Tuesday, September 8

$100 is due when you sign up, then $25 every four weeks until the fee is paid in full.

The Forte fee is separate from the Pearce Choir activity fee, and the two run on their own payment schedules. Every Forte student pays both — $140 at signup ($100 Forte plus $40 Pearce).

Auditions

Forté is open to 10th, 11th and 12th grade treble and tenor-bass singers who demonstrate superior vocal and musical skills. Students audition in March or April for the following year, and members hold concurrent membership in A Cappella Choir. Details are posted about a month before auditions; for questions in the meantime, email Grace Gill at Grace.Gill@risd.org.

Rehearsals & Performances

Forté members are expected to participate fully in all performance activities, including approved travel and outside performances when needed. The rehearsal schedule is posted at the start of each season, and all confirmed performance dates appear on the choir calendar.

Uniforms & Attire

Forté uniforms are purchased by the Forté Fund through Forté operating fees, so there is no separate uniform charge. Students are responsible for the replacement cost if a provided uniform is lost or damaged. Fittings are scheduled through Forms & Paperwork.

Support Forte

Program ads help fund the Forte season. Families and local businesses can purchase an ad in the Forte program.
